Troubadours Singing the Glories of the Crusades
During the Middle Ages, travelling singers and entertainers caled troubadours compsed and sang songs lauding the heroic deeds of the crusaders. They served as a form of popular entertainment, news media, and propaganda to recruit volunteers to fight in the Holy Land.
